Muji Cafe
I'm sure you have heard of Muji. A retail store where everyone can get simple, low-cost and good quality product. I've seen a lot of people going to Muji and purchasing all sorts of items from skincare to daily household items and others. But now, Muji has opened something very exciting! They have opened their very first cafe called Cafe & Meal Muji located in their store at Paragon.
They have a range of Cold Deli to Hot Deli items you can choose from. You can get their 3 Deli set meal for $12.90 SGD which offers you 1 Hot Deli, 2 Cold Deli and a choice between White Rice or Bread Rolls.
Since I'm an absolute lover of tea, their Brown Rice Tea wins all of me. It tastes just like how tea is supposed to taste like! They offer a variety of other drinks as well, such as; Iced Yuzu Squash, Iced Ryukyu Chai, Hot Matcha Latte and more!
Apart from their main course and drinks, they offer desserts as well! There are 11 desserts to choose from, so there is bound to be one that you're craving for.
For me, the 3 Deli set was enough to fill my stomach. The Sakura Chicken with Curry Miso and Dried Chilli tasted fantastic. It had hints of Sakura which made the spiciness mellow down a bit, paired with the aromatic fragrance of the curry, this Hot Deli was absolute bliss. Alongside with the Orecchiette Pasta and Mushroom Salad in Truffle Ranch Dressing, the subtle truffle ranch complimented the dish while still carrying it's big mushroom flavour.
After you're done eating, why not head over to Muji store to browse around? I've heard that browsing through Muji can be quite therapeutical! If you feel like taking away some Japanese snacks to munch on at home, there are plenty of choices to choose from!
