Located in Orchard Gateway directly across Levi's Denim Store is a Singaporean Local Cafe owned by Damian Koh and his wife, Dawn Wee. If you're looking for a place to study and have good coffee and/or desserts, you've come to the right place!
From refreshing Cha Coolers to Freshly brewed coffee, there is a variety of choices that will certainly satisfy your taste buds! Not to mention, their delicious cake collection will be the perfect pair for your drinks.
Here is Joe & Dough's speciality; d.r Joe 1914. This drink only extracts the sweeter parts of the coffee shots which results in a chocolatey-creamy rich texture , producing a soothing sensation. Also, the chocolate powder supports the coffee by making the first layer sweet, and the bitterness burst out with flavour later on. Their speciality costs $5.40 SGD, if you get the Perfect Pairing which comes with a Sea Salt Caramelised Sliced Cake, it'll cost $8.80 SGD.
What's better than coffee or tea alone? Cake. Joe & Dough provides you with a variety of cakes which is sure to leave you satisfied. Some of my favourites include; Salted Caramel & Chocolate Flourless Cake and the Gula Melaka Pandan Cake which is their best selling cake. You can have it served to you warm or chilled as both bring a different texture. If served warm, the moment you take a bite, the cake will melt in your mouth coating your tough with a delightful tingling sensation. The cake itself has brown sugar coated on the top along with coconut flakes which support the Pandan to achieve the depth of flavour that it has to offer. The cake itself is $5.80 SGD, however, if you get the Perfect Pairing (with Americano), it'll cost $7.80 SGD. Since I'm more of a tea person, I got mine with their Matcha Latte!
